Top 5 Film & Television Apps on Android in Russia Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, Russia's top five film and television applications on the Android platform exhibited dynamic trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is an overview of each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

The app also maintained a strong active user base, increasing from about 1.23M to nearly 1.55M over the same period.

Wink - TV, movies, TV series experienced a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings ranging between $3.7K and $4.8K. Downloads varied throughout the quarter, starting at 55.8K and reaching a high of 87.8K in late October. Active users rose from around 295K to approximately 347K by the end of December.

Okko - movies & series online showed significant growth in revenue, starting from almost negligible amounts and reaching up to $35.6K by the end of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated but saw an upward trend, peaking at around 89K in the last week of the year. Active users also increased, from about 338K to over 392K.

KION – фильмы, сериалы и тв had modest weekly revenue, generally under $20, with slight fluctuations. However, the app saw a notable increase in downloads, particularly in December, where it peaked at approximately 94.2K. Active users also rose steadily from around 250K to over 310K by the end of the quarter.
